Most coalition members will return to APC, says Sowore

Human Rights activist and the 2023 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has said most of the politicians who were in coalition talks would return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) if things don’t work out for them.
Sowore said this on Sunday when he appeared on Channels TV’s Rubbing Minds programme.
He stated that the coalition led by the opposition politicians should not be taken seriously.
It would be recalled that the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-rufai and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi were leading coalition talks to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Although, the coalition is yet to announce the political platform to use for the contest but there were speculations that they may use the Social Democratic Party (SDP) or the African Democratic Congress (ADC) or register a new political party.
