Mrs Lucia Onabanjo, wife of first civilian governor of Ogun State dies at 100 years
The family of Chief Victor Olabisi Onabanjo, former Governor of Ogun State, has announced the passing of his wife, Chief (Mrs.) Lucia Onabowale Onabanjo, at the age of 100.
Chief Mrs Onabanjo, who was also a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Monday, 11th January 2026.
In a statement, the family expressed profound sorrow while giving thanks to God for her long and fulfilled life. They noted that she leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, strength, and faith.
“May her soul rest in perfect peace,” the statement added.
