Musawa moves to promote local tourism, visits Ikogosi warm spring

The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has praised the management of Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort and Conference Center in Ekiti State, describing it as a “remarkable wonder of nature” and a testament to Nigeria’s tourism potential.

During a visit hosted by Cavista Holdings, current managers of the resort through its subsidiary Glocient Hospitality, Musawa commended the warm and thoughtful reception she received and lauded the team’s passion for hospitality and dedication to advancing tourism in Nigeria.

“The Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort and Conference Center is nothing short of breathtaking, where warm and cold springs flow side by side without blending—a rare natural phenomenon that must be seen to be believed,” she said, adding that the site is a vivid reminder of Nigeria’s abundant natural blessings.

The Minister’s visit also reinforced the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry and Cavista Holdings, aimed at unlocking the full potential of Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality sectors.

“In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive, our Ministry remains committed to advancing sustainable tourism through Public-Private Partnerships. I remain dedicated to supporting private sector-led efforts to reposition tourism as a key driver of economic growth,” Musawa stated.

The Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort is one of Nigeria’s premier natural attractions and a centerpiece of efforts to boost domestic and international tourism.
