Napoli hopes to resolve Osimhen’s transfer issues in summer window

Italian giants Napoli hope to resolve the transfer issues involving Nigerian international Victor Osimhen once and for all in the summer, intending to use the proceeds from his sale to fund multiple signings.
Although there was speculation about a possible transfer in January, developments have been minimal, according to Fabrizio Romano (via SOSFanta).
The Super Eagles striker is currently thriving at Galatasaray, which could help Napoli secure the full amount of his €70–75 million release clause.
He has frequently been linked with a move to the Premier League. However, while he wanted to leave last year, he was not fixated on moving to any specific country.
Instead, Osimhen prioritized maintaining his salary of €11–12 million, which he continued earning during his time in Turkey.
He was also open to a move to Saudi Arabia to fulfill his ambitions. It remains uncertain whether Galatasaray will make another significant investment for two consecutive seasons, as they would need to spend substantially on the transfer fee.
Chelsea have shown interest in the Nigerian striker, but their highest offer was only €7–8 million per year.
Osimhen is expected to choose the club that offers him the highest salary.
