NCAA to resolve Dana Air refund concerns, partners NG Eagle

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has revealed it is taking decisive action to address the refund concerns of passengers affected by the recent suspension of Dana Air’s operations.

In a statement on Friday, the NCAA confirmed that to resolve these issues, it has engaged NG Eagle, a new partner of Dana Air, to manage the airline’s outstanding financial obligations to its customers.

This development follows a series of meetings between the NCAA, led by its Director-General, Capt. Chris Najomo, and the management teams of Dana Air and NG Eagle.

The discussions focused on finding a solution for passengers who have been waiting for refunds on flights that were canceled due to the suspension of Dana Air.

As part of the resolution, NG Eagle has committed to taking on the responsibility of fulfilling Dana Air’s refund obligations. Passengers who prefer to use their existing tickets for future travel will be able to do so through NG Eagle, while alternative arrangements are being made to process cash refunds.

The NCAA, under Capt. Najomo’s leadership, has reassured the public that it is dedicated to ensuring that all refund issues are handled swiftly and effectively, with a focus on protecting consumer rights in the aviation sector.
