NFF President reaffirms commitment to grassroots football development

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, has reiterated his dedication to grassroots football development, highlighting its pivotal role in shaping the future of Nigerian football.
Speaking at the finals of the NFF President Preseason Football Tournament in Kaduna, Gusau congratulated the participating teams and encouraged them to build on the tournament’s momentum for a successful league season.
He also praised the organizers for their passion and commitment in hosting the event, which saw Yobe Desert Stars emerge as champions.
In addition, the NFF President expressed his support for the ongoing Lagos Grassroots Cup, emphasizing its importance in engaging Nigerian youths and serving as a platform for discovering future national team players. As part of his contribution to the competition, Gusau presented match balls to the organizers, Wonderland Events.
He assured organizers of various grassroots competitions that the NFF is ready to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to elevate Nigerian football to greater heights.
