NGF mourns victims of Zamfara road explosion

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has expressed heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Zamfara State over the tragic road explosion that reportedly claimed six lives.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the Chairman of the Forum and Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the NGF condemned the incident, describing it as a cowardly act attributed to a local terrorist group.
“We condemn this development in its entirety and wholeheartedly support the Nigerian military’s efforts to eradicate these violent, criminal elements from our land,” the statement read.
The Forum also called for increased vigilance among citizens and encouraged the prompt reporting of suspicious activities to security agencies, emphasizing that such measures are crucial for collective safety.
The NGF extended its condolences to Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal and the families of the victims, praying for the deceased to be granted eternal rest.
