Nicki Minaj praises Kemi Badenoch, says she could be portrayed like Margaret Thatcher in film, TV

American rapper and multiple Grammy-nominated artist Nicki Minaj says Kemi Badenoch, the Leader of the UK Conservative Party, could one day be portrayed in film and television in the same way as former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, following a viral parliamentary exchange.

Minaj made the comment on X while reacting to a thread featuring a clip shared by UK broadcaster Patrick Christys, who praised Badenoch’s performance in the UK House of Commons.

Christys had posted a short video clip with the caption:

“Absolutely glorious watching Kemi skewer the entire front bench.”

In the six-second clip, Badenoch addressed the Members of Parliament (MPs) and criticised aspects of government activity during a parliamentary session.

“Why dont you just do your job. Even worse Mr Speaker is what isn’t in the gracious speech, there’s no point in him giving me dirty looks we know what he is been up to?,” she said in the clip

Responding to the post, Minaj wrote: “The UK is truly one of a kind. They will portray her in film & TV one day… just like they did with Margaret Thatcher.”
