Niger APC hasn’t endorsed any presidential aspirant – Gov Bello

Niger State Governor, Sani Bello says the state has not endorsed any presidential aspirant.

Bello, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel-Berje was reacting to news that he told Vice President Yemi Osinbajo that the party has endorsed National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The governor said those carrying the rumour were out to cause disaffection in the part, urging the public to disregard the statement.

“As far as the Niger APC is concerned, the race for the ticket of our party is open to all. The vice president like any other eminent aspirants is free to visit the state.

“The party has not taken any position yet,” the statement said.

Governor Bello urged members of the APC in the State to remain united and be on their guards, so as not to allow callous and mischief-makers to cause disunity in the party.
