The President of AFA, Charles Osei Asibey, emphasized the importance of the event, stating, “This championship will not only showcase the best of African armwrestling talent but also serve as a unifying platform for the continent. Nigeria’s bid was compelling, and we are confident the country will deliver an exceptional championship.”

The championship is expected to attract thousands of spectators, athletes, and officials, boosting Nigeria’s economy through increased tourism, hospitality, and related industries.

Preparations are already underway to ensure the event meets international standards, with organizers promising a seamless experience for all participants.
