Nigeria partners with Futuretech to promote cultural, creative exports globally

The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy (FMACTCE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Futuretech to enhance the global visibility of Nigeria’s cultural products and creative talents through the “Destination 2030: Nigeria Everywhere” initiative.
The agreement, which focuses on strategic planning, global communications, and creative leadership, positions Futuretech as the brand custodian of the initiative, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand integrity.
Speaking at the MoU signing, Minister Hannatu Musawa emphasized the partnership’s role in Nigeria’s economic diversification efforts. She noted that Nigeria’s creative industry holds immense potential for job creation, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to empowering the nation’s youth.
“Nigeria’s soft power is extraordinary, and through this collaboration, we will connect with global audiences, inviting them to rediscover our diverse heritage,” Musawa stated. “Destination 2030: Nigeria Everywhere will serve as a vehicle to share our cultural and creative products with the world while fostering sustainable economic opportunities.”
Itohan Izugbokwe, Country Manager of Futuretech, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the initiative as a strategic move to showcase Nigeria’s cultural heritage and creative talents on the global stage.
“We are committed to positioning and amplifying Destination 2030 as Nigeria’s cultural soft power and tourism brand,” Izugbokwe said.
The Ministry will provide institutional support to enhance promotional efforts and international outreach, ensuring alignment with national objectives and access to key diplomatic channels.
Futuretech’s Frontline Advisory and Strategic Communications division will play a pivotal role in implementing the initiative, leveraging its expertise to project Nigeria’s cultural and creative assets to a global audience.
