Former President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and FIFA Council member, Amaju Melvin Pinnick, has unveiled ambitious plans to upgrade Nigeria’s sports infrastructure to meet international standards.
Speaking recently, Pinnick confirmed that the NFF is actively working on establishing a world-class technical center for all national teams while also revamping existing facilities.
“The federation is developing a world-class technical center. The Abuja National Stadium is undergoing a revamp, and part of it is already being built. This technical center will be integrated with the national stadium.
“So, I can confidently say that within the next two years, Nigeria’s sports facilities will be at a world-class level,” Pinnick stated.
The planned technical center is expected to serve as a hub for training and development, ensuring Nigeria’s football infrastructure aligns with global standards.
With these developments, Pinnick believes Nigeria will soon enjoy significantly improved facilities that could transform the nation’s sporting landscape.
