The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of applications for its 90 Regular Recruit Intake for trades and non-tradesmen and women, calling on youths in Ekiti State to seize the opportunity to serve the nation.

In a statement issued by the Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 12 Brigade Nigerian Army, Lieutenant Hassan Abdullahi, the exercise is open to young Nigerians who are willing to build careers in the military while contributing to national security.

According to the statement, the recruitment is aimed at attracting energetic and disciplined youths who embody the Army’s core values of loyalty, integrity, courage and selfless service.

Successful candidates, the Army said, will undergo professional training and enjoy opportunities for career growth in fields such as engineering, medicine, information and communication technology, logistics and administration.

“The online registration portal will open on September 29, 2025. Applicants are expected to apply via the official Nigerian Army recruitment website and strictly follow the outlined guidelines.”

The Army stressed that the entire process is free and warned prospective candidates against dealing with fraudsters or unauthorized agents.

The statement further appealed to traditional rulers, community leaders, parents and guardians across Ekiti to encourage their wards to participate in the recruitment.

It added that wide publicity, including translation into local languages, was necessary to ensure that the public was adequately informed about the exercise.
