Nigerian author Prof Kole Omotoso dies at 80
The literary world mourns the loss of a prominent figure as Kole Omotoso, an esteemed Nigerian author and professor has passed away at the age of 80.
According to a family source, he succumbed to illness in South Africa, where he had been receiving medical treatment for some time.
The news of his passing was later confirmed by the family through a statement.
“Our beloved father and husband moved on from this plane on Wednesday 19th late afternoon,” the family announced.
