Nigerian comedian set to attempt Guinness World Record with 50-hour performance

By Tosin Brown

Nigerian stand-up comedian Mr. Dolor has announced plans to attempt a historic feat by performing a non-stop comedy show for 50 hours.

The three-day event, scheduled for February 27 to March 1, 2025, will take place at Pepperoni Fast Food in Ajah, Lagos.

Mr. Dolor is confident about breaking the world record, which has stood for 12 years.

The current record was set in 2013 by an American comedian. The event will be free to attend, but donations will be welcomed to cover logistics.

“I’m calling on all media houses, blogs, companies, the government, and individuals to support this historic event.

“I will be Nigeria’s next record breaker on March 1, 2025,” said Mr. Dolor.
