Nigerian medical doctor allegedly murdered by colleagues in Jordan

A Nigerian medical doctor has reportedly been killed in Amman Jordan.
Dr. Emeka Agbo was allegedly murdered recently with the circumstances surrounding his alleged killing still unclear.
An X user with the handle, @RealOlaudah posted the information.
The post read: “A young brilliant Nigerian medical doctor and Polio Technical Officer working with @WHOJordan Dr Emeka Agbo was recently murdered in Amman, Jordan. He was aged 45 years. Emeka had complained to his wife of threats he was receiving from two of the expatriate doctor colleagues he was working with. I hope @WHO and the Jordanian police brings a closure to his young family 🙏🏾”.
The report has caught the attention of Nigerian authorities, including the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
Commenting on the incident on her X handle, the NIDCOM boss assured the Commission has contacted the family of the deceased and the appropriate agencies of government have been informed of the incident. She assured the matter is being investigated.
Hon. Dabiri-Erewa said, “This is indeed a very sad incident. @nidcom_gov has been in touch with the family. The attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been brought to the matter. And it will be thoroughly looked into”.
