Nigeria’s Ogunkunle cruises into Men’s Singles Para-Table Tennis semifinals in Paris
Isau Ogunkunle has achieved a giant stride at the ongoing #Paralympics, securing qualification into the semifinals of the Men’s Singles Class 4 Para-Table Tennis.
Ogunkunle defeated, top-ranked Maxime Thomas (a triple Paralympic bronze medalist), recovering from a set down to win 3-1 (9-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-6). This is the second match the Nigerian is coming out tops against a top seeded player.
He will be playing his first ever semifinal match at the Paralympics haven lost out in the quarterfinals at Tokyo Paralympics in 2021.
