The National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) has reinforced its commitment to promoting unity and social change in Nigeria by supporting initiatives that align with its mission of fostering “GOOD CAUSES.” In its latest effort, the NLTF has partnered with 2et Media Network Ltd to premiere the movie When Wolves Cry.
In a statement signed by the Special Assistant to the Executive Secretary on Media and Corporate Communications, Arowolo Alaba, the NLTF emphasized that the film tackles the critical issue of fake news, which aligns with its goal of using art and culture to address societal challenges. This partnership aims to enhance media literacy, encourage critical thinking, and promote fact-based storytelling among Nigerians.
During the film’s premiere at the United Nations House in Abuja, NLTF Executive Secretary Tosin Adeyanju praised the movie and its producers. “We are proud of you and all individuals responsible for this movie,” Adeyanju stated. “The movie is worthy of commendation; there is no better time to come up with this movie. Moving forward, our organization will continue to partner with the movie producer to educate Nigerians through its GOOD CAUSES.”
Adeyanju also encouraged Nigerians to watch the film, underscoring its importance for the nation’s growth. “I urge everyone to find time to watch this movie. Its message is crucial for our collective progress as a nation. Let us embrace this opportunity to learn and grow together.”
The NLTF’s dedication to uniting Nigerians through “GOOD CAUSES” is expected to continue with future projects and partnerships, further establishing its role as a catalyst for positive change in the country.
