NNPC releases new price template for fuel across Nigeria

The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC Ltd) has released the new price template for petrol across the country.
The new template was as a result of the suspension of subsidy on petrol by the Federal Government.
According to the new price template which takes effect with immediate effect, the pump price for petrol will now range from N488 to N557 as against between N184 to N199 when subsidy was still in place.
Lagos State still maintained the cheapest pump price at N488 followed by the other four South West states of Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti at N500.
Petrol will now be sold for N511 in Rivers, Cross River, Edo and Delta states, while the new pump price for Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Kwara, Abia and Imo states is N515.
Residents of the other three South East states of Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi will now start buying petrol at N520.
The five North Central states of Kogi, Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau and Niger and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have their new pump price set at N537, while in the North West, petrol will be sold for N540 in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Jigawa and Zamfara except in Kebbi where it now goes for N545.
The North East has the costliest pump prices, with Adamawa, Taraba, Bauchi and Gombe states to now buy petrol N550 while residents of Borno and Yobe states will start buying petrol N557.
