No crisis in Lagos Assembly- Obasa
The ousted Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has said that there was no crisis in the House, saying that it was mere misunderstanding.
Obasa said this while granting interview on TVC’s Beyond 100 Days programme on Thursday.
He insisted that he is still the speaker, adding that the vote of confidence passed by 36 members in Speaker Mojisola Meranda was insignificant.
Obasa described the crisis rocking the House as a family affairs, stating that his colleagues are his brothers and sisters.
The ousted Speaker said that he has cordial relationship with the governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, insisting that the lawmakers did not follow due process in removing him.
