NOA seeks collaboration with security agencies to combat fuel scooping

The Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called for greater collaboration between the NOA and security agencies to raise awareness on the dangers of fuel scooping and promote value re-engineering in the country.

Speaking during a visit to the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abubakar Audi, at the NSCDC headquarters in Abuja, the NOA Director General emphasized the importance of security agencies partnering with the NOA to educate communities on the rules behind the advocacy.

The NOA DG stressed that collaboration between the two agencies is crucial to ensuring lasting peace, following the defeat of elements responsible for insecurity in the country.

He also took the opportunity to explain the concept of the National Values Charter, which outlines responsibilities for both the country and its citizens.

In response, the Commandant General of NSCDC praised the NOA’s efforts in citizen reorientation and encouraged the agency to continue its work in educating the public about their duties to the nation.

Both organizations have agreed to work together to preserve peace and promote national stability.
