Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson raises alarm over impostor’s fraudulent acts

Popular Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson, has raised the alarm over the fraudulent activities of an impostor, dissociating himself from the impersonator.

The 48-year-old actor made this known on Tuesday via his Instagram page, revealing that the impostor has been contacting people with fake business proposals.

Johnson shared a screenshot showing how the impersonator created a group chat with his contacts, luring them to join a supposed business venture, and insisted he knows nothing about the activities.

“SCAM ALERT!!!…… I DO NOT KNOW THIS PERSON OR REPRESENT WHATEVER HE OR SHE STANDS FOR!!! NEVER USED THIS NUMBER… AND FOR NOW I HAVE NO MANAGER OR PERSONAL ASSISTANT!!!”

He urged the public to ignore such messages and report the phone number being used by the impersonator.

“PLEASE LET’S FRUSTRATE THIS NUMBER WITH CALLS AND REPORT IT AS WELL!!! OUR NAME NO GO SPOIL OOO,” he added.

Johnson was recently in the spotlight for featuring Sunday Afolabi, a Nollywood actor who returned to acting after venturing into transport services, in one of his movies.
