Nollywood actor Ogogo weighs in on Funke–Toyin feud, predicts reconciliation

Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has reacted to the reported tension between actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, expressing confidence that both will eventually settle their differences.

The issue gained attention after a viral moment at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere showed Abraham approaching Akindele to greet her, but Akindele appeared to ignore the gesture, sparking mixed reactions online.

While some social media users criticised Akindele’s response, others argued that Abraham should not have initiated contact if the two were not on good terms.

Speaking in an interview with Feel Right TV, Hassan distanced himself from the situation, stating that he does not involve himself in disputes between women.

He noted that such disagreements are often blown out of proportion, making it difficult for outsiders to intervene meaningfully.

“Any man who interferes is stupid. What is the reason for the fight? God blessed the two of them already, and the next thing they think is right is to be fighting. Very soon, they will come back to their senses. It is not even my business,” he said.

The actor questioned the basis of the disagreement, pointing out that both actresses are already successful and have little reason to be at odds. He added that conflicts of this nature are often temporary.

Hassan expressed optimism that the situation would resolve itself, maintaining that both Akindele and Abraham would eventually move past their differences and reconcile.
