Among the cases presented was that of Hauwa Yusuf, a 30-year-old woman from Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area of Katsina State. She was intercepted by police while traveling from Lafia, Nasarawa State, to Katsina State in a Sienna bus along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway. Upon searching the vehicle, police recovered an AK-47 rifle and four AK magazines hidden inside a sack of garri. Yusuf confessed that she was transporting the weapons on behalf of a notorious bandit who has been terrorizing Katsina State.

Represented by Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Inspector General reaffirmed the Police Force’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of all Nigerians. “This parade is a clear testament to our ongoing work to maintain law and order and to instill a sense of security within our communities,” IGP Egbetokun stated.
