Warri Wolves FC and Kun Khalifat FC of Owerri picked up maximum points on the road on Matchday Nine of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Niger Tornadoes recorded the biggest win of the week with a 4-0 victory over Plateau United, while Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) handed a 2-0 defeat to Abia Warriors of Umuahia.

In Ilorin, Kwara United defeated Katsina United 2-1 — the same margin with which El-Kanemi Warriors beat Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in Maiduguri.

League leaders Nasarawa United surrendered all three points after going down 0-2 to Ikorodu City in Lagos, just as FC Barau came from a goal down to defeat Kano Pillars in the derby played behind closed doors at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
