NRC pledges to prioritise staff welfare, empowers women

The management of Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has vowed to prioritise staff welfare and operations, stressing on its commitment to motivate and empower women in the rail sector. 

The management of NRC led by its Managing Director, Dr Kayode Opeifa held a brief district meeting with The National Union of Railway Workers, Western District Council, Ibadan. 

Opeifa  in a tweet noted that the  union presented key requests concerning their welfare and operations, as the management of NRC assured them of its commitment to addressing their concerns as swiftly as possible, reinforcing our dedication to fostering a productive and supportive working environment.

According to his tweet, the Management was also pleased with the active involvement of women in the district’s activities, highlighting that NRC is not only gender-sensitive but gender-compliant. 

The management added that it is determined to encourage women in making significant contributions to the corporation.
