NURTW Lagos Chairman suspends union member over alleged assault of female conductor
NURTW Lagos State Chairman, Adekunle Mustapha, popularly called Sego, has suspended a union member over the assault of a female bus conductor, Victoria Olajide.
In a viral video, Sego who summoned the union member to his office, faulted the behaviour of the union member, directing the female conductor to go for medical checkup to ascertain the state of her health.
The incident occurred around the Abraham Adesanya axis of Lagos after the female conductor refused to pay a ₦500 “security” levy.
The assaulted lady was compensated with ₦200,000.
