The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod, has emphasized the significance of the African Military Games as a platform for fostering unity and camaraderie among African nations.
“This is more than just a tournament,” he remarked. “It is a celebration of African strength, discipline, and teamwork.”
Nimrod also lauded the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, for the recent upgrades to the indoor sports hall.
“When I entered the hall, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive renovations,” Nimrod noted. “The improvements have enhanced both the beauty and functionality of the arena. I want to commend the Chief of Defence Staff for investing in the nation’s sports infrastructure.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Commodore Aliyu Pindar (Rtd), Chairman of the FCT Volleyball Association, expressed confidence in Nigeria’s Armed Forces volleyball team.
“I am confident these players will make the country proud,” he stated. “They are driven and hungry for glory, and the African Military Games provide the perfect platform for them to excel.”
