Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival to unveil logo, hold fundraising event

The committee for the inaugural Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival has scheduled September 12, 2024, for the unveiling of the event’s logo and a fundraising ceremony.

The Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival, a socio-cultural event, will take place from December 19 to 23, 2024, as part of the 25-year development plan of the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III.

According to a statement released on Thursday by committee chairman Prince Williams Adeleye, the unveiling and fundraising event will begin at 6 p.m. on September 12 at Ajuji Greenwich Hotel, Plot 1083 Joseph Gomwalk Street, Abdulsalami Abubakar Road, Gudu District, Abuja.

Adeleye, who previously served as Special Assistant (Media) to former President Muhammadu Buhari, announced that His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, will also attend the event to discuss his vision and the 25-year development agenda for Ogbomosoland.

The five-day program will feature a variety of activities including cultural and tourism programs, football, tennis, and golf tournaments, traditional cuisines, and masquerade parades.
