He further called for the observance of traditional festivals, including the Oro Festival, in accordance with the law and with due respect for the constitutional rights of citizens, while commending the collaboration among security agencies through Operation Kosaye in combating crime within the border communities.

The commissioner later paid a courtesy visit to the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, where he acknowledged the monarch’s support for peace, security and the establishment of the 84 Police Mobile Force Squadron base, while assuring him of sustained security operations across the area.

During a visit to the Federal University of Technology, Ilaro, Ojajuni commended the institution for donating a police post to enhance campus security after the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Akinde Mukail Aremu, praised the command for maintaining a peaceful environment conducive to learning.

The commissioner also inspected the 84 Police Mobile Force Squadron Base in Ilaro, where he assessed operational facilities, applauded officers for their professionalism, discipline and operational readiness, and urged them to remain vigilant in protecting lives and property.

The tour ended at the Ilaro Area Command Headquarters, where Ojajuni reaffirmed the Ogun State Police Command’s commitment to expanding community policing, strengthening intelligence-led operations and deepening partnerships with traditional institutions, government agencies and residents to sustain peace and public safety across the state.
