Ologunagba not fit to speak for us, says South-South PDP

The South South Zonal Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Chief Dan Orbih has warned the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Debo Ologunagba to refrain from interfering with or discussing matters related to the Party’s affairs in the South South Zone and its respective states.

In a statement signed on its behalf by the Zonal Publicity Secretary Prince Etim Isong, the Zonal leadership noted that Ologunagba has failed to differentiate between expressing personal opinion and officially speaking on behalf of the party, stressing ” “The Party in the South South Zone is tired of the constant embarrassing and shameful conduct of this Debo Ologunagba and wishes for him to desist, forthwith, from interfering, discussing, or issuing any statements regarding issues concerning or relating to the Party in the South South Zone or any of its States. Ignoring this warning will attract severe consequences, the Zonal leadership warns.

“The Party’s leadership emphasized that Ologunagba’s tendency to make unguarded statements has contributed to the many avoidable crises the Party has faced. His unprofessional conduct is seen as a significant factor in the PDP’s ongoing struggles to regain power in Ondo State.”

The Zonal Working Committee reiterated that Ologunagba is unfit to speak for the Party in matters affecting its interests in the zone.
