Olubadan commends Aryfad boss for building Ibadan economy

The Olubadan of Ibadan His Imperial Majesty, Ọba (Dr). Olalekan Mohood Balogun has urged all sons and daughters of Ibadan to return home and invest in order to further promote the socio-economic development of the city.

The Olubadan made the call during the courtesy visit by the management of Aryfad Travels Limited led by its Chief Executive Office, Dr Raymond Adeyinka Adewale to the Alarere palace of the monarch.

The monarch said it was high time sons and daughters of Ibadan returned home and invest in their father land like Dr. Adewale who has invested heavily in Ibadan.

Oba Balogun also assured that his tenure will give priority to peaceful coexistence of the people such that will promote healthy economic and business friendly environment among others.

“The city of Ibadan is known for peace and hospitality; it is also accommodating and very friendly to all kinds of tribes.

“I therefore offer you royal blessing for the visit, and I also commend you for improving and promoting the economy of Ibadan land through your companies,” the Olubadan said..

Speaking earlier, Dr. Adewale, who is the Seriki Musulumi Adinni of Adamasingba and its environs, said the visit was necessary to pay homage and congratulate the new Olubadan as he ascended the throne of his forefathers as the 42nd Olubadan.

Adewale used the occasion to commend the state governor, Seyi Makinde for using wisdom to unravel and settle issues which surrounded the emergence of Dr Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan.
