Olubadan designate attends religious function at St Peters Cathedral

The Olubadan designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on Sunday made his second public appearance at the St Peters Cathedral in Aremo, Ibadan North East local government area.
Accompanied by his immediate family, friends, and associates, Oba Olakulehin attended the religious service, marking a significant moment in his pre-ascension engagements.
This follows his initial public appearance during his nomination by the Olubadan in Council at the Oja” ba palace, Ibadan.
Prince Olasunbo Owolabi, Oba Olakulehin’s son, confirmed his father’s presence at the cathedral, emphasizing the importance of the event.
Recent activities surrounding the Olubadan designate include courtesy visits from dignitaries such as the Otun Iyalode of Ibadanland and her team.
According to sources, the state government has officially acknowledged the receipt of his nomination letter as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, as confirmed by Hon. Segun Olayiwola, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, during a telephone conversation.
