Olubadan-designate Ladoja meets Chiefs Council ahead of installation

Olubadan-designate, Oba Rasidi Ladoja, on Tuesday held his first meeting with members of the Olubadan-in-Council as preparations continue for his installation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The meeting, which was ongoing at the time of filing this report, marked Ladoja’s first official engagement with the Council since his nomination as the next Olubadan.
His return to Ibadan on Monday was marked by visits to his family at the Arusa Compound, Isale Osi, and later to well-wishers at his Bodija residence.
Addressing supporters, Ladoja assured them that he would consult with the Council, the Oluwo, the Araba, as well as Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde to fast-track the enthronement process.
Sources confirmed that all members of the Olubadan-in-Council were in attendance at Tuesday’s meeting.
