Oluremi Tinubu celebrates Nigerian fathers on Father’s Day

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has extended warm wishes to Nigerian fathers as the country joins the rest of the world to mark Father’s Day 2025.

In a message released on Sunday, the First Lady commended fathers for their dedication to raising confident, responsible, and compassionate children. She also celebrated men who take on fatherhood roles through mentorship, guardianship, and community leadership.

“Let us continue to give men the support and enabling environment to function effectively as fathers. When fathers are involved, families grow stronger, and so does the nation,” Mrs Tinubu said.

She prayed for God’s blessings upon all fathers, asking that they be strengthened in their responsibilities and rewarded with peace, joy, and fulfilment.

“Happy Father’s Day,” the First Lady added.
