First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has commissioned the Oluremi Tinubu Dream Centre at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, urging young Nigerians to dream big and work diligently to achieve their goals.
The Dream Centre, a digital library built by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, in honour of the First Lady and digitised by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), is designed to inspire innovation, learning, and mentorship among youths.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Senator Tinubu described the centre as a major milestone in her lifelong commitment to inspiring future generations. She said the centre reflects her personal journey and belief in the power of continuous self-development.

“I have always dreamt of being a teacher and I achieved that dream, but I didn’t stop there. I kept dreaming, and here I am today. I also dreamt about the kind of wife and mother I wanted to be, and I allowed God to guide me through it all,” she said.
The First Lady expressed optimism that the fully digitised, purpose-built facility would serve as a modern innovation hub, featuring a mentorship room, library, digital museum, dream room, innovation hub, studio, and tech garden.

“These sections come together to reflect the power of dreams, imagination, and inspiration as forces for change and personal growth,” she added.
In his remarks, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, said the Dream Centre was inspired by the enduring legacy of the First Lady and her contributions to national development.
