Oluremi Tinubu pays condolence visit to late Adebanjo’s family

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has described the late Afenifere chieftain, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, as a respected political leader during a condolence visit to his family in Lekki, Lagos.
During the visit, the First Lady expressed gratitude for the opportunity to see the elder statesman shortly before his passing.
She offered prayers for the repose of his soul and strength for his widow, Chief Mrs. Christiana Anoko Ayo Adebanjo, and the entire family. Despite political differences, she emphasized that the late Adebanjo remained family.

Femi Adebanjo, son of the deceased, appreciated the First Lady’s visit, describing it as heartwarming.
The First Lady also held a private meeting with the widow at the residence.
Chief Ayo Adebanjo, a prominent Yoruba leader and elder statesman, passed away on February 14 at the age of 96.
