Oluwo makes triumphal entry into Eid ground for Eid-el-Fitri

Controversial first-class monarch, Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi Telu I, made a grand entry into the Eid ground in Iwo town to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-fitri festival.

He rode on top of a royal horse like a Northern Emir.

Oluwo who recently married the granddaughter of the Emir of Kano had at various times labeled himself an Emir and an emperor.

As he rode, he was cheered by a large army of Muslim faithful who were also headed for the Eid for the two rakat prayers marking the end of Ramadan.

Nigerian Muslims like their counterparts across the world fasted for 30 days abstaining from food and drinks from dawn to dusk as enjoined by Islam.

Ramadan fast for healthy Muslims is one of the five pillars of Islam.
