Oluyole LG will triple votes for Tinubu in 2027, says ex-chairman Olaosebikan

A former Chairman of Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, has pledged that the local government will triple its votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ensure a sweeping victory for all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 elections.
Olaosebikan explained that the strategy would focus on grassroots mobilisation, voter registration and collection of permanent voters’ cards. He stressed that overwhelming numbers of voters would be mobilised at the appropriate time to vote for President Tinubu and the APC in 2027.
‘’The party executives and leaders in the local government are totally committed to ensuring that we improve drastically on our performances in the 2023 elections,’’ he said while speaking with journalists at the APC Unity Rally held in the Olomi area of Oluyole Local Government.
Olaosebikan, the Convener of the PBAT-KO Grassroots Movement in Oluyole, disclosed that the APC in the area had grown considerably in both numbers and quality, with many political heavyweights, respected community leaders and traditional rulers now aligned with the party.
He explained that the movement, headquartered at the CICU Building, Olomi, Olojuoro Road, Ibadan, had been touring the 229 polling units across the ten wards of the local government. He added that the group recently visited Gbaleasun Village, one of the most remote communities in the area, to mobilise residents and sensitise them on continuous voters’ registration and the ongoing APC membership registration exercise.
According to him, no effort would be spared in delivering the maximum possible votes for President Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 elections. He reiterated that politics is local and that sustained engagement at the grassroots remained the party’s priority.
On party unity, Olaosebikan asserted that the APC was now more united and stronger than ever, with members working in unison to achieve unprecedented success in forthcoming elections. He praised the local government APC chairman, Alhaji Waheed Akinleye, his executive members and party leaders for their efforts in fostering cohesion.
The two-time local government chairman also commended the Renewed Hope Ambassador for Oyo State, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, and other party leaders for organising the Unity Rally. He said the rally was already yielding positive results, adding that the APC was fast becoming the dominant and most functional party in both Oyo State and Oluyole Local Government.
