By Boye Oyeyemi –
The Ondo State APC Mandate Elders Forum has urged members of the All Progressives Congress across the state’s 18 local government areas to actively participate in the party’s ongoing electronic registration exercise.
The call was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the forum, Chief Erastus Akeju, alongside the Secretary, Hon. Ebenezer Alabi, and the Facilitator, Hon. Demola Ijabiyi.
The forum described the e-registration as a key political exercise designed to strengthen the party’s internal structure, unity, and readiness for future elections, noting that it goes beyond routine documentation.
It stressed that a credible and verifiable membership register remains essential to building a strong political party, adding that the APC is determined to set the standard in this regard.
Party members, including leaders and grassroots supporters, were urged to see the exercise as a civic duty and a demonstration of loyalty to the ideals and progressive philosophy of the APC.
The elders also called on ward, local government, and state party officials to intensify mobilisation efforts, while encouraging unregistered supporters to seize the opportunity to formally join the party.
According to the forum, active participation and unity are crucial to sustaining the achievements of the APC-led government and supporting President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, reaffirming Ondo State’s position as a stronghold of the party.
