Ondo assembly begins impeachment proceedings against Akeredolu’s deputy, Aiyedatiwa

The Ondo State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against the Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The assembly started the impeachment proceedings against the deputy governor after nine of its members signed a petition against him, accusing him of gross misconduct while he served as acting governor.

After the petition was read at plenary on Wednesday, the Speaker Olamide Oladidi directed the Clerk of the House, Mr Benjamin Jaiyeola, to communicate to Aiyedatiwa the allegations levelled against him.
