The Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) has pledged to work across Ondo State to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking at the inauguration of its Leaders’ Council in Akure on Wednesday, the group stated that it would leverage its political experience and grassroots structures to garner overwhelming support for the President across the state’s 18 local government areas.

Chairman of the Council, former Senator Yele Omogunwa, said members are united in their commitment to mobilise support at every ward and community level in order to sustain the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“We are determined to work tirelessly in every ward and local government, to mobilise, engage, and inspire our people toward sustaining the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Omogunwa said.

The Director-General of AMG, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla, who inaugurated the council on behalf of the convener, described the development as a significant step toward consolidating Tinubu’s support base in Ondo State.

“This Council represents wisdom, stability, and the highest level of experience within our political family,” Asagunla said.

“We trust you to guide AMG’s structure, strengthen our outreach, and ensure that every community in Ondo State feels the impact of the Renewed Hope vision. Together, we will deliver an unprecedented mandate for President Tinubu in 2027,” he added.
