Ondo Guber: Aiyedatiwa urges electorate to defend votes

The candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress for the November 16 Governorship election and incumbent governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has urged residents to come out en-mass and defend their votes in Saturday’s election.

Aiyedatiwa stated this when he took his campaign trail to Owo Local Government Area of the State.

The APC standard bearer took his campaign to the Local Government Council Area of his predecessor, late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) in a remarkable show of respect to the memory of his deceased principal.

In what looked like a final lap of the campaigns before Saturday’s election date, Aiyedatiwa and his campaign team were received with warm reception in Owo by residents and party supporters.

At Owo, the campaign trail’s first point of call was at the palace of Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye where the candidate met with the traditional council, who unanimously endorsed Governor Aiyedatiwa for what they say to ensure continuity in governance.

The APC candidate, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa who was impressed by the support he is enjoying, urged the electorate to massively vote for APC on Saturday’s election and to protect their votes.

The final Local Government rally will be at Ilaje, the home Council Area of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
