Another fire outbreak has occurred at the popular Sabo Market in Ore, headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, barely weeks after a major inferno destroyed several shops and goods worth millions of naira at the market.

The latest incident occurred on Sunday evening when a drinks store reportedly caught fire despite rainfall in the area, raising fresh concerns among traders and residents about the safety of businesses within the market.

The cause of the fire was unknown as of the time of filing this report.

Following the outbreak, traders, residents and other members of the community reportedly rushed to the scene as the flames threatened nearby shops and property.

However, the timely intervention of firefighters helped to contain the blaze and prevented it from spreading to other parts of the market.

The latest incident has heightened anxiety among traders, especially since it is coming shortly after another devastating fire outbreak caused extensive damage at the market.

Some traders and residents expressed concern over the recurrence of fire incidents, urging relevant authorities to strengthen fire prevention measures and improve emergency response at the market.

They also called for better safety arrangements and closer monitoring of the market to prevent further destruction of businesses and property.
