Ondo North Senatorial aspirant Mogaji mourns Akungba accident victims

A senatorial aspirant in Ondo North, Afolabi Momoh Mogaji, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of eight people in a truck accident in Akungba Akoko.
In a statement issued on Friday, Mogaji commiserated with the families of the victims and the entire Akungba community, describing the incident as “deeply saddening and heartbreaking.”
He urged residents to remain strong despite the tragedy and called on relevant authorities to take urgent steps to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
Mogaji appealed to government agencies and well-meaning Nigerians to support the affected families and provide them with necessary assistance.
“Our hearts go out to the families who lost loved ones in this unfortunate incident. May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may those left behind find strength and courage to endure this difficult period,” he said.
The APC chieftain also called for improved road safety measures in the area, stressing the need for responsible infrastructure development to safeguard lives.
