Ondo State FA election holds Friday

The elections to determine the next 18 Local Football Council chairmen and the State Football Association (FA) Executive Board in Ondo State will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025.
The Local Football Council elections, initially scheduled for Thursday, February 27, were postponed due to concerns raised by stakeholders.
According to information from the electoral committee overseeing the process, all arrangements have now been finalized for the elections to proceed as planned on Friday.
Incumbent Otunba Dele Ajayi, Otunba Dele Ologbese, Barrister Remi Adetula, and Prof. Henry Abiodun are contesting for the position of State FA Chairman.
The timetable released by the electoral committee indicates that the elections will be conducted as follows:
1. Local Football Councils Election
- Date: Friday, March 7, 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
2. State FA Board Election
- Date: Friday, March 7, 2025
- Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
