Osimhen gifts Remo Stars N10 million for NPFL title win

Ikenne-based Remo Stars FC have begun reaping the rewards of their historic Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title win.

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen became the first to commend the team financially, gifting them N10 million for their achievement.

According to reports, the Napoli striker announced the gesture during a conversation with the team’s head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede.

While congratulating the club through Ogunmodede on Monday afternoon, Osimhen awarded N5 million to the players and another N5 million to the coaching staff for their efforts.

The Nigerian international expressed his admiration for the team’s performance and praised their tenacity throughout the season.

Remo Stars clinched their first-ever league title on Sunday night, defeating Niger Tornadoes 1–0 in a Matchday 35 fixture, securing the championship with three games to spare.
