Osinbajo to declare for 2023 presidency with recorded video tomorrow

After much suspense, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will finally declare his intention to run for the office of the president in the 2023 general elections on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), tomorrow.

According to Premium Times, Osinbajo will declare his intention to run for presidency in 2023 via a recorded video which will be syndicated across his social media platforms.

The video will see him address Nigerians about his desire to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to the report, the VP will host all APC governors to a ceremonial iftar – the Muslim break of Ramadan – at his official residence tonight.

At the iftar, Prof. Osinbajo is expected to inform the governors collectively of his decision to vie for the country’s number one seat.

In preparation for his declaration, the Osinbajo camp is reported to have already opened a campaign office at 15B Buchanan Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja.
