Osinbajo to meet APC Senate, Reps Caucus

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is set to meet with the All Progressives Congress caucus in the National Assembly.

The VP is set to meet with the APC caucus in both chambers separately.

He will host APC senators today for Ramadan iftar by 6:30pm at his official residence, Aguda House, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Senate President Ahmed Lawan read Osinbajo’s notice of meeting at the start of meeting on Monday.

The letter was signed by Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi.

Osinbajo is also expected to host members of the APC caucus of the House of Representatives to Ramadan iftar on Wednesday.

The meetings are not unconnected with Osinbajo’s 2023 presidential ambition.

The vice president officially declared his intention to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in office in a video broadcast on Monday.

Osinbajo had earlier met with 10 APC governors on Sunday to intimate them of his ambition.
