The capital of Osun State, Osogbo, experienced unusually empty streets as protesters rallied to express their dissatisfaction with the worsening living conditions in Nigeria.
Many shops, banks, and businesses across the city were closed as a precautionary measure.
In anticipation of the demonstrations, security personnel were deployed throughout the capital to ensure law and order.
